Bob Tangredi is a high-impact P&L leader and founder of Commercial Growth, LLC, a business growth consultancy focused on scaling performance, enhancing enterprise value, and supporting ownership transitions. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Chemtron Riverbend and Rees Scientific, both portfolio companies of AEA Investors. Bob has built his career by leading high-performance teams, attracting top talent, and fostering employee-focused cultures. Known as a strong communicator and motivational leader, his true passion lies in helping others reach their full potential—always guided by his core philosophy of People–Process–Strategy. He previously served as CEO of Pure Water Technology (PHSI®), a private equity–owned manufacturer and marketer of water purification systems, and spent nine years leading healthcare service divisions at Stericycle (NASDAQ: SRCL). Bob began his career with a 15-year tenure at Xerox (NYSE: XRX), followed by a commercial growth leadership role as Vice President of Sales at Monster.com (NYSE: MWW). Over the course of his career, Bob has partnered with more than 20 founders to lead growth-focused transitions involving strategic buyers, private equity, family succession, and ESOPs. He has led and integrated over 70 acquisitions and implemented lean continuous improvement to scale operations and capture synergies. His experience spans healthcare, water treatment, industrial services, and technology-enabled businesses. Bob is currently focused on partnering with founders of water treatment and laboratory/testing companies to build a federation of labs—preserving each company’s unique strengths and culture while driving sustainable, shared growth.
